Cancer committee
About Us
The Cancer Committee consists of the cancer liaison physicians (CLP) within the state of Virginia. They are volunteer physicians who represent all the Commission on Cancer (COC) accredited hospitals within the state and assist in managing the clinically related cancer activities at their local institutions and surrounding communities. This committee supports these group of physicians by organizing both state and nationally sponsored informative or educational events. This committee is also responsible for organizing and hosting our annual state CoC Resident/Fellow Paper competition with prize winners designated for both Basic Science and Clinical abstracts.
