humanitarian surgical resident travel scholarship program

The  VA-ACS Humanitarian Surgical Resident Travel Scholarship Program was established in 2009 for the purpose of offsetting travel expenses for Surgical Residents in Virginia who are interested in participating in programs to deliver surgical care as part of Humanitarian missions to under-developed countries.   


 Submissions along with a CV and letter of recommendation should be sent via email to:

Please note:   The deadline for submissions for 2022 travel is December 31, 2021.
